Job summary

Intuit Careers is hiring TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You’ll provide in-person tax preparation, tax advice, and software support while building relationships with local clients and the community.

Ideal candidates hold an active EA/CPA/Attorney license with strong tax knowledge, a PTIN, and a track record of filing numerous 1040 returns. The role requires on-site presence, 20+ hours weekly, and a pro-community mindset.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and deep knowledge of tax law preferred.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail/flagship location, 20+ hours per week.
• Interest in building a local/online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador, engaging with prospects and converting them into long-term clients.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and build long-term trust in the local community.
• Support local marketing efforts and grow TurboTax’s client base in the community.
