Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide in-person tax preparation, tax advice, and software support, helping customers navigate their tax needs and achieve positive financial outcomes.

As a local ambassador, you will grow the TurboTax client base, build long-term relationships, and work with TurboTax marketing tools to deliver accurate tax solutions.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law preferred.
• Active PTIN to file taxes as required by law.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sundays–Saturdays, for ≥20 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador, representing TurboTax locally and engaging with prospects.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, from simple to complex scenarios.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and optimize refunds.
• Create an exceptional customer experience and build long-term trust with clients.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit’s video tools; address inquiries and overcome tax challenges.
