Job summary

Intuit seeks TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide full-service tax preparation, tax advice, and product support to in-person customers, building local client bases and long-term relationships.

You will represent TurboTax in the community as a proactive ambassador, engaging prospects, nurturing leads, and contributing to local marketing efforts with support from TurboTax.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and tax law knowledge.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain related state licenses/certificates/permits/bonds.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per tax season with professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Onsite availability at a TurboTax location, 20+ hours/week, weekends included.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Willing to work in front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent TurboTax locally as a public face in the community.
• Provide tax advice and complete returns for customers, including simple to complex tax situations.
• Lead local marketing efforts with TurboTax support to grow client base.
• Deliver accurate tax solutions using government sources and professional tools.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and build long-term relationships.
