Job summary

Intuit is seeking a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide hands-on tax preparation and expert advice at a local TurboTax location. You will engage with both in-person and remote clients, guiding them through personal and business taxes and connecting them with Intuit’s broader services.

Ideal candidates have active PTINs, 3+ years of returns experience, and a willingness to grow the local client base through community outreach and events.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA or practicing attorney with strong tax prep experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid 1040 tax returns filed per season using professional software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services.
• Must work onsite (8:00–17:00 local time) at TurboTax location, ~20 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients across personal and business returns.
• Act as community ambassador to grow local TurboTax client base and partnerships.
• Connect clients with broader Intuit ecosystem (bookkeeping, payroll, planning).
• Deliver best-in-class customer experience in-person and via TurboTax tools.
