Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide on-site tax preparation and advisory services at a local TurboTax location in the United States. You will work with clients in person and virtually, delivering personalized tax strategies and end-to-end Intuit solutions across the ecosystem.

You will grow the local client base, engage with the community, and participate in marketing-supported activities while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and compliance.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Practicing Attorney with strong tax prep experience and tax law knowledge.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software; familiar with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, 20 hours/week minimum.
• Willing to complete all required training and development; uniforms required; advertising use of name/photo.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete returns for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
• Collaborate with specialists across business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.
• Grow TurboTax client base locally through outreach, events, and partnerships; build long-term relationships.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and guidance using Intuit resources and tools.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem products (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, Credit Karma).
• Represent TurboTax in local events and marketing efforts to raise brand awareness.
