Job summary

Intuit Careers seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to perform full-service tax return preparation and advisory services onsite in the United States. You will interact with clients, deliver personalized tax solutions, and collaborate with a broader team of specialists to address complex situations while growing the local TurboTax client base.

You will engage in community outreach, develop a local market, and leverage marketing tools to maximize client success.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state Form 1040 returns per season using professional tax software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Onsite at a TurboTax office; 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Monday–Friday, minimum 20 hours per week; peak periods may increase hours.
• Willing to complete all required training and development; uniforms provided; advertising use of name/photo.
• Interest in building local/online presence and content for the TurboTax community.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients for simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and optimize refunds.
• Connect clients with Intuit specialists for bookkeeping, payroll, planning, or advisory services.
• Grow the local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in person and via Intuit tools.
