Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a TurboTax Local Service Expert to deliver hands-on tax preparation and client advisory services at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will combine tax knowledge with local community outreach to grow a client base and drive loyalty.

You’ll work onsite 20+ hours weekly, collaborating with specialists across bookkeeping, payroll and advisory services to provide end-to-end solutions and a superior customer experience.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 20 hours per week minimum, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Willingness to complete training and development, including compliance and cross-training.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and allow use of name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise—give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador—grow a local customer base and act as the local face of TurboTax with outreach and events.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem—connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning and other Intuit services.
• Build Relationships—develop long-term trust and repeat business.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience—ensure professional, helpful service in-person and via video tools.
