Job summary

Intuit seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide on-site tax preparation, expert advice, and software support at a local TurboTax location. You will collaborate with specialists for a complete client engagement, from simple W-2 returns to complex, advisory scenarios, while growing the local client base and delivering exceptional service.

You will build relationships across services (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning) and participate in community outreach.

Qualifications

• Enrolled Agent, CPA, or licensed attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 returns per season with professional tax prep software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Mon–Fri, for at least 20 hours/week.
• Willing to complete required training and development as directed.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and be comfortable with use of name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base.
• Connect clients with other Intuit services like bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build long-term relationships and ensure a comprehensive financial picture for each client.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences via in-person and video interactions.
• Support local events and outreach with TurboTax marketing resources.
