Job summary

Intuit Careers seeks a TurboTax - Local Service Expert to provide hands-on tax preparation and advisory services at a TurboTax location. You will engage with in-person and virtual clients, uncover deductions, and deliver tailored tax solutions while collaborating with a network of specialists.

You will grow the local client base, participate in community outreach, and help clients achieve their financial goals with end-to-end Intuit support.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
• Be the local face of TurboTax, growing the client base through outreach and partnerships.
• Collaborate with a broader team of specialists to deliver end-to-end Intuit services.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience across in-person and virtual channels.
