Job summary

Intuit Careers seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to perform on-site tax preparation, client advisory, and local growth activities at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will collaborate with a team to deliver end-to-end tax services, connect clients with Intuit solutions, and help build a thriving community-based practice.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Monday–Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must complete all required training and development; uniforms and advertising usage may apply.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador, growing the local client base and leading outreach events.
• Act as a trusted guide, connecting clients with Intuit ecosystem solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning.
• Build long-term relationships through client meetings and cross-functional collaboration.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional conduct and clear communication.
