Job summary

Sun Automation in Glen Arm, MD seeks an onsite Human Resources Recruiter to drive talent acquisition and handle HR admin tasks. You will partner with managers to define roles, source candidates, screen, interview, and extend offers while ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of talent acquisition experience, with ATS experience (Paycor preferred).
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of other HR functions is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand open roles and define ideal candidate profiles.
• Source, recruit, screen, and conduct interviews to support hiring needs across the organization.
• Evaluate applicants’ education, experience, training, and other qualifications.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews for selected candidates.
• Communicate job duties, responsibilities, work schedules, compensation and benefits information, and career advancement opportunities.
• Prepare and extend job offers as part of the recruitment process.
• Verify employment eligibility, collect required documentation, and coordinate drug screens and background checks.
• Implement HR programs and services, including support for compensation and benefits administration and training and development efforts.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable labor laws or regulations.
• Conduct external benchmarking across multiple HR disciplines.
• Complete personnel transactions and maintain accurate associated records.
