The People Concern is seeking a Support Specialist at The Layover (Los Angeles) to serve as the first point of contact for clients, addressing needs like phone use, linens, water, and scheduling within a trauma-informed framework. The role emphasizes staying on the floor, maintaining safety, and supporting shelter operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Be visible on the floor and engage with clients.
• Document in HMIS and complete incident reports as needed.
• Develop client relationships using trauma-informed care.
