Job summary

Vallen Distribution is seeking an onsite Supply Chain Services Site Coordinator to coordinate and refine supply chain, vending, and VMI operations at a customer site. You will report to the Supply Chain Services Sr Manager and work with inside sales and account management to strengthen customer relationships and Vallen's value proposition.

You will oversee daily operations, lead onsite teams, and collaborate on strategic goals, while driving KPI improvements and inventory optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain management or related industry.
• Experience with indirect materials is advantageous.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily functions of Supply Chain Solutions, ensuring service standards, agreements, and cost optimization.
• Lead onsite Supply Chain Solutions associates; focus on performance, training and teamwork.
• Collaborate with the Sr Manager to align team activities with goals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customer stakeholders; ensure satisfaction.
• Oversee onsite inventory and assets; optimize usage and tracking.
• Monitor KPIs: service levels, fill rate, downtime; drive improvements.
• Refine inventory controls with customers and account managers to minimize stock-outs.
• Ensure adherence to inventory protocols and cycle counts; implement corrective actions.
• Regularly review processes to drive operational efficiencies.
