Job summary

Dover's Vehicle Service Group (VSG) is seeking a Shop Equipment Technical Consultant to support customers with installation, activation, and troubleshooting of vehicle service equipment in Madison, Indiana. This on-site role provides post-sales technical support via phone, chat, or text and ensures reliable service delivery.

The right candidate will handle high-volume inquiries, follow scripted responses, and contribute to solutions with guidance from the team.

Qualifications

• Responding to a high volume of low complexity technical inquiries (e.g., equipment installation/activation, troubleshooting).
• Providing technical product specifications & information on compatibility with other products.
• Recommending warranties or additional services as part of issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-sale technical customer service to business or end-user customers via phone, online chat, or text.
• Respond to inquiries using pre-determined scripts and guidance tools.
• Install, activate, and troubleshoot shop equipment at the customer site and coordinate with other teams as needed.
