Job summary

Edwards, a division of Atlas Copco, seeks an On-site Service Engineer Team Lead for its Austin, TX operations. The role supervises semi-routine preventive maintenance and acts as the single point of contact for customer installations and qualifications.

You will establish training materials, oversee special projects, and maintain maintenance records while ensuring 7x24 escalation support and strong customer service. Leadership and organizational excellence are essential.

Qualifications

• AS degree or equivalent in relevant technical field or 4+ years' related technical experience.
• 5 years related industry experience including training and competencies within the current position.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to organize and manage priorities.
• Excellent organization, prioritizing, multi-tasking and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs team daily operational activities and acts as single point of contact for customer on Installation Qualification issues.
• Establishes and audits local procedures to train Edwards and customer personnel.
• Performs special projects at customer sites under supervision from senior experts or project management.
• Maintains repair and maintenance records; develops preventive maintenance schedules for optimum performance.
• Assists with failure analysis and provides failure mode information.
• Submits information to Edwards technical department to drive equipment improvements.
• Writes weekly/monthly activity reports as required by customer and regional management.
• Works with Site Lead/Manager to ensure 7x24 escalation support and on-site coverage.
• Maintains punctual attendance and collaborates in a team environment; takes direction as assigned.
