Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Service Desk Technician for a 1-year on-site contract in Meridian, Idaho. You will provide Tier 1 support for end users via phone, email, and chat, document issues, and escalate complex problems.

The role covers desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and network peripherals within a high-volume service desk. Requirements include 5+ years of enterprise help desk experience and knowledge of Windows 10, VDI, Office 365, and Active Directory tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years enterprise help desk experience supporting corporate PC/network clients.
• Windows 10, VDI environments, Microsoft Office 365, mobile devices, and enterprise ticketing software.
• Basic understanding of Active Directory tools, group policies, and user account management.
• Experience in large enterprise environments (healthcare, financial, or tech institutions strongly preferred).
• Outstanding communication and phone-based customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 support to end users via phone, email, and chat.
• Document issues and resolve hardware/software requests; escalate complex problems.
• Support end-user desktops, laptops, handheld devices, and network peripherals.
• Troubleshoot standard enterprise software including Office 365, Adobe, and proprietary apps.
• Document all interactions in the ticketing system and route to appropriate teams.
