Ensemble Health Partners at Mercy - Fairfield Hospital in Fairfield, OH is seeking a Senior Patient Access Specialist for the 3rd shift 9pm-5:30am onsite. You will handle admitting duties, verify insurance, gather demographics, and provide compassionate customer service while meeting POS and compliance requirements.

The role requires 2–3 years in patient access, CHAA/CRCR or equivalent certification preferred, and an associates degree.

Qualifications

• CHAA and/or CRCR or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative.
• 2-year/associate degree preferred.
• 2–3 years in patient access or leadership role.
• Understanding of Revenue Cycle, admissions, billing, payments and denials.

Responsabilités

• Perform admitting duties for all patients admitted.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations and audits.
• Assign MRNs, verify insurance, collect demographics and orders.
• Provide patient instructions and POS collections; assist with payments.
• Audit accounts and report data to leadership.
