Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Senior Information Systems Security Officer to support our onsite team in Andover, MA. You will partner with the ISSM to ensure NIST, JSIG, DAAPM, and NISPOM compliance across classified networks.

Responsibilities include risk-based assessments, security plan development, incident response coordination, and documentation updates. A university degree or higher and 5+ years of relevant experience are required, with hands-on RMF/A&A expertise

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years relevant experience, or 3 years with advanced degree.
• Experience with RMF, DAAPM, JSIG, NISPOM and related standards.
• Experience with Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience with cyber incident response and security investigations.
• Familiarity with DISA STIGs and government regulatory compliance.
• Experience with security tools such as Splunk, Forcepoint, Ivanti, Tenable, ACAS, HBSS.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and monitoring system compliance, auditing and security awareness.
• Investigating security violations and preparing corrective action reports.
• Reviewing and approving configuration management requests.
• Conducting technical and administrative security assessments.
• Integrating new cybersecurity processes and tools.
• Supporting cybersecurity documentation and technical writing.
