Acro Service Corp. is seeking a Scanning Technician in Grayling, MI, onsite for a 2‑month contract with possible extension. The role involves preparing documents, operating high-speed scanners, and ensuring accurate indexing and data entry into the network drive.

Candidates should be able to lift 35–50+ pounds, work independently, and maintain confidentiality per privacy and security protocols. Familiarity with scanning software and Office 365 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with scanning software, Office 365, and basic computer troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift and move heavy record boxes (35–50+ pounds) and sit/stand for extended periods.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills; ability to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Document Preparation: Sorts physical files, removes staples/paper clips/bindings, and arranges pages in chronological order.
• Scanning & Digitization: Operates high-speed scanning equipment to convert records into digital images.
• Indexing & Data Entry: Names, categorizes, and tags digital files for storage on a network drive.
• Quality Control: Inspects scanned images for clarity and completeness; rescans as needed.
• Equipment Maintenance: Performs basic daily cleaning, calibration, and minor troubleshooting on scanning hardware/software.
• Confidentiality & Compliance: Handles sensitive records per privacy laws and security protocols.
