FastTek Global in Grayling, MI is seeking a Scanning Technician to convert paper records into digital formats and manage indexing tasks. You will prepare physical files, operate high-speed scanners, and ensure accurate tagging for storage on the network drive.

The role demands attention to detail, the ability to lift 35–50+ pounds, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Training and safety protocols are part of daily responsibilities.

• Experience with scanning software and data entry preferred.
• Ability to lift 35–50+ pounds and operate scanning equipment.

Mansioni

• Prepare documents: sort, remove staples, arrange pages in chronological order.
• Operate high-speed scanner to convert records to digital images.
• Name, categorize, and tag digital files for network storage.
• Inspect scanned images for clarity and completeness; re-scan if needed.
• Perform basic daily cleaning, calibration, and minor troubleshooting on scanning hardware and software.
• Handle sensitive records in compliance with privacy laws and security protocols.
