Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking a Safety Engineer to support the safety manager and project team on construction projects. The role involves applying policy, auditing safety practices, and guiding teams to prevent injuries on site and in offices.

Qualified candidates will have a 4-year degree preferred, a safety-focused background, and a valid driver’s license, with proficiency in Excel templates, Prolog, Primavera and AutoDesk Suite.

Qualifications

• A 4-year degree is preferred.
• Occupational Safety and Health degree suggested.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Support safety manager and project team in safe project completion.
• Implement safety policies and procedures on site and in office.
• Assist in accident investigations and safety audits.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to maintain safety program.
• Assist with OSHA inspections and safety performance monitoring.

Education

4-year degree preferred

Occupational Safety and Health degree suggested
