Job summary

Qualifications

• 5 years of construction experience.
• 1 year on-site safety experience.
• OSHA 30hr certification for Construction Industry.
• First Aid, CPR, and AED training completed.
• Specialized training relevant to scope of work.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and hazard control methods.
• Strong attention to detail with good analytical skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Willing to tackle projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to travel 75-85% to job sites/offices.

Responsibilities

• Participates in developing and conducting field safety orientation training.
• Daily inspection of machinery, equipment, and working conditions.
• Ensure proper use of safety equipment and clothing.
• Inspect fire-prevention equipment and first-aid supplies.
• Test work areas for hazards using testing equipment.
• Prepare daily safety reports with corrective action recommendations.
• Investigate accidents to establish root causes and preventive measures.
• Document accidents, violations, and unsafe conditions or behavior.
• Assist in developing JSA, SHMP, and PSSP; conduct weekly safety meetings.
• Demonstrate equipment use and conduct safety training.
