TEKsystems is urgently hiring an ROI specialist for an onsite contract role in Torrance, CA. The successful candidate will manage release of information requests, retrieve and return patient charts, and ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of records.

You will stamp dates, validate requests, and maintain confidentiality while delivering excellent customer service to patients and providers. Responsibilities include prioritizing requests from multiple sources, embedding data into systems, educating

Competenze

• 3 years of ROI experience.
• ROI Navigator Module in EPIC.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Must maintain a high level of confidentiality / HIPAA.
• Data entry and processing accuracy of 95%, e-fax, use of PDF application.

Mansioni

• Complete release of information requests, including retrieving patient’s medical chart and returning chart, scanning medical record and transmitting daily.
• Date stamp all requests and highlight data to expedite processing.
• Validate requests and authorizations for release of medical information in accordance with procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and providers.
• Ensure that files are properly stored and maintained.
• Receives and prioritizes customer requests from multiple sources and works them through the appropriate systems to completion within required response timeframes and in accordance with State and Federal requirements and HIPAA regulations.
• Address customer inquiries for patient information, assists callers with making record requests and general customer service.
• Educate customers on information confidentiality and privacy regulations.
