Job summary

RTX is seeking a capable Test Engineer with a strong background in developing test hardware and software from requirements to deployment. You will work across communications, RF, analog, digital, firmware, and systems integration, collaborating with mechanical and production teams.

Ideal candidates have STEM degrees, 5+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. On-site role with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.
• Current and active DoD Security Clearance within one year of start date.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in engineering design and development, preferably related to Test equipment development efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop test hardware and software from requirements through build and integration, then deploy to manufacturing or customer facilities.
• Design, support and integration across multiple disciplines (communications, RF, analog, digital, firmware).
• Coordinate with mechanical engineering for test adapter and fixturing design activities.
• Present work at project status meetings and ensure adherence to budget and schedule.
• Provide on-site troubleshooting and collaboration with production and design teams.
