Job summary

RTX in McKinney, Texas is seeking a Senior RF Electrical Engineer to support a development program in the Airborne RF Electronics Design Department. You will join a team focused on testsets for production programs onsite under an IPT Lead.

The role requires a STEM degree and 5+ years of experience in electronics, testing, and instrumentation, with DoD Secret clearance. You will interpret drawings, train junior staff, and troubleshoot RF systems in compact range labs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) is required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with electronics testing and instrumentation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess production testing design coverage from equipment to assembly and verification.
• Stand up testsets for a McKinney production run in the compact range area.
• Troubleshoot testsets to component level including RF/microwave circuitry and interfaces.
• Interpret, generate, update, release and apply engineering drawings and parts lists.
• Train and mentor junior team members.
