Job summary

RTX in Chesapeake, VA is seeking an onsite RF technician to perform testing, troubleshooting, and repair of RF equipment. You will work with Analog, Digital and High Voltage circuits and utilize engineering drawings and manuals to complete tasks.

U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance is required. This 1st shift role offers a comprehensive benefits package and on-site work at US-VA-Chesapeake facility.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience testing RF circuitry.
• Experience reading drawings/schematics.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of technical efforts including processes, tests, troubleshoots, and repairs RF equipment.
• Perform, test and utilize various engineering drawings, manuals and other related documentation in the performance of their tasks.
• May also work on Analog, Digital and High Voltage circuits as well.
• Observe, analyze and report test data.
• This position is a 1st shift, onsite role.
