Job summary

SIU Medicine seeks a Revenue Cycle Trainer/Auditor to design and deliver in-person and virtual trainings across departments. You will develop materials, assess learning needs, and mentor staff on SIU HealthCare systems including Epic, Athena IDX, TouchWorks, and Excel-based tools.

This on-site role emphasizes standard workflows and service excellence. Responsibilities include conducting trainings, evaluating outcomes, and supporting process improvement while collaborating with Revenue Cycle

Qualifications

• Two years of revenue cycle or customer service experience required.
• Two years of experience training staff on processes, procedures, protocols, and daily operational tasks.
• Experience with front desk, eligibility verification, referrals, and denials management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and virtual trainings on SIU HealthCare systems and departmental processes.
• Develop, maintain, and distribute training materials and references.
• Provide on-site guidance and support to end users and monitor learning transfer.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and collaborates with leaders to drive process improvements.
