Job summary

University of Mississippi Medical Center in Clinton seeks a Revenue Cycle Trainer and Auditor – HIM HB Coding – Revenue Cycle to design, coordinate and implement staff education and quality audit processes within the department.

We expect a degree (Associate's or Bachelor's) and 2 years of revenue cycle experience, with supervisory exposure and EPIC knowledge preferred. Strong facilitation and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate highly engaging facilitation skills in diverse learning environments.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Healthcare revenue cycle experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers targeted training for staff to meet educational and competency requirements.
• Monitors employee test scores to ensure compliance with qualifications.
• Develops class schedules and maintains training records.
• Assesses training needs and recommends process improvements.
• Collaborates on training materials and programs to enhance effectiveness.
• Prepares and conducts presentations and special training sessions.
• Audits departmental quality and productivity and suggests remediation.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Provides on-site auditing and workflow support.
• Schedules on-the-job and refresher training with employees and management.
