Job summary

Greystar in Philadelphia is seeking a skilled Service Technician to maintain and service the property’s buildings, grounds, and amenities to meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will diagnose defects, perform preventive maintenance, complete make-ready tasks for vacant units, manage inventories, and document work orders promptly. A valid driver’s license and EPA refrigerant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• State and Local certifications as required by jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork for service requests in a timely, accurate manner.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, performs cleaning, painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.

Education
