Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the property's physical aspects, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

The role includes handling work orders, preventive maintenance, make-ready tasks, and on-site inspections to ensure high-quality resident experiences. A valid EPA certification and state/local licenses are required, with on-site work and on-call flexibility.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications (Type 1 and II or Universal) are required.
• State and local certifications as required by jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and codes.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring completion.
• Accesses and tracks materials, supplies, and tools from the property maintenance department; reports re-order needs to the supervisor.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to track service requests accurately.
• Assists in maintaining grounds and amenities by cleaning, painting, and debris removal.
• Supports cost-saving practices by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
