Job summary

Essex Property Trust seeks a Community Relations Representative to greet residents and manage communications in person at a San Jose office. You will handle move-in/move-out paperwork, ID checks, and resident inquiries, while supporting portfolio operations with professionalism and strong customer service.

Work primarily on-site with occasional virtual interactions, using CRM to track responses and collaborating with the Community Management Team to sustain high satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary in-person contact for residents and handle inquiries.
• Facilitate move-in and move-out paperwork and identification checks as needed.
• Promote resident satisfaction through timely, professional communication, in person or virtually.
• Manage portfolio tasks via CRM, meeting response times and standards.
• Collaborate with the Community Management Team to support operations and events.
