Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations at a housing community. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and financial functions while ensuring compliance with fair housing and safety guidelines.

You will handle rent posting, receivables, budgeting, and reporting, focusing on resident satisfaction and NOI targets. Onsite role requiring strong customer service and leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or two years of housing industry experience.
• Ability to perform onsite software functions and basic computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community.
• Post payments and income, and reconcile accounts receivable.
• Monitor and follow up on bad debt; prepare late notices and evictions.
• Help the property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities where applicable.
• Conduct end-of-month close procedures and reporting.
• Maintain organized records and audit resident files.
• Supervise onsite staff; ensure compliance with policies and safety guidelines.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention programs.
