Job summary

Greystar in Des Peres, MO seeks a property operations leader to oversee day-to-day management of a multifamily community, lead the on-site team, and ensure financial and operational goals are met. You will implement rent strategies, manage vendor relationships, and drive occupancy while maintaining service standards.

You will input into budgets, supervise maintenance and leasing activities, ensure compliance with housing laws, and collaborate with ownership to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4–6 years minimum of relevant property management experience including operations, leasing, and financials.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with ability to lead and collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the property and supervise on-site staff.
• Input into budgets, analyze financial statements, and monitor marketing performance for occupancy.
• Approve invoices, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with insurance and coding requirements.
• Control expenditures within budget, manage petty cash, and supervise lease enforcement and renewal processes.
• Lead resident relations, address complaints, and ensure timely maintenance with the on-site team.
• Conduct regular property inspections to meet safety and appearance standards.
• Assist in managing client/owner relationships and provide performance updates.
