Job summary

Greystar is seeking a property manager to oversee day-to-day operations of an assigned apartment community, lead a property team, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

You will drive leasing, revenue, maintenance, and resident satisfaction, supervise staff, inspect the property, and coordinate owner communications. This role requires strong leadership, budget control, and excellent communication skills to deliver service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4–6 years minimum of relevant experience in property management, sales, marketing, and customer service.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with leadership and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop budgets for the property by analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Meet target revenues by setting rent rates and monitoring deposits and reports.
• Process invoices and manage relationships with vendors and owners.
• Control expenditures within the approved budget and maintain petty cash.
• Oversee lease enforcement, applications, renewals, inspections, and notices.
• Analyze market trends and implement marketing and leasing strategies to hit occupancy goals.
• Promote resident satisfaction by addressing complaints and service requests.
• Conduct regular property inspections for safety, cleanliness, and appearance.
• Supervise staff through hiring, training, and performance management.
