Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a skilled Community Manager for an on-site apartment community. You will oversee operations, lead staff, manage leasing activities, budgeting, and resident relations to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.

The role requires 3+ years in multi-family property management, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and strong leadership and communication abilities. On-site position with focus on resident satisfaction and career growth, plus competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years of relevant experience, or a combination
• 3+ years of related multi-family property management experience
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Team player with professional, effective communication

Responsibilities

• Leads property staff, overseeing onboarding, training, timesheet approval, and annual assessments
• Drive team to achieve performance indicators and manage disciplinary actions with HR
• Conduct ongoing training with office staff on leasing paperwork, safety, and daily operations
• Motivate associates through recognition, training, and team-building activities
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure adherence to budgets
• Complete month-end and year-end financial reporting and provide variance reporting
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention by addressing complaints promptly
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure prompt responses to service requests
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining high resident service standards
• Analyze market trends and support marketing to achieve occupancy and revenue goals
• Follow eviction procedures and support court representation as needed
• Manage owner relationships with updates and property tours
