Job summary

Greystar's The Crossing at Palm Aire in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work to keep buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas clean, safe, and functional. Responsibilities include completing work orders and preventative maintenance, making repairs, prepping vacant apartments, managing supplies, documenting work, and assisting with grounds care.

Valid EPA Type I/II/Universal refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling (required)
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property (as applicable)
• Must meet state and local jurisdiction certification requirements

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance
• Perform make-ready tasks for vacant apartments and prep for leasing
• Manage materials and inventory, issue re-orders as needed
• Document work in a timely, accurate manner for tracking
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning and painting
• Support cost-control by using parts efficiently and adhering to safety policies
