Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician for our Orlando property to perform essential maintenance, fix issues, and make-ready apartment homes for new residents. You will diagnose defects, repair systems, and ensure safety and cleanliness in line with policy and code.

You will follow inventory procedures, assist with grounds upkeep, and help manage supplies. EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certifications and a valid driver's license are required for site operations.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs in line with safety standards and codes.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing including pre-move-out inspection, punch list creation, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies, completing tasks, and inspecting work.
• Tracks materials and tools, returns unused items, and notifies the maintenance supervisor about restocking needs.
• Maintains documentation for service requests so they are properly recorded and tracked.
• Assists in grounds and common area upkeep, cleaning, painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-saving by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
