Job summary

RangeWater is hiring an on-site Maintenance Technician in Sarasota, FL. You will perform mechanical and building maintenance to uphold safety, cleanliness, and operational standards across the property.

The role requires 1-3 years of apartment maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant certifications, and proficiency with Entrata, Yardi or OneSite. You will work 40 hours weekly with some weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 1-3 years in apartment maintenance preferred.
• Proficient in basic computer tasks and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders within 24-48 hours and perform routine maintenance.
• Prepare vacant homes for leasing and coordinate punch lists.
• Repair parts instead of replacing when possible to reduce costs.
• Track inventory and return unused items to the shop.
• Complete documentation for service requests.
• Inspect contractor work for quality when needed.
• Participate in safety meetings and comply with OSHA.
• Provide courteous service to residents and team.
• Assist with periodic property inspections.
• Other duties as assigned.
