Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of our apartment communities, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality across buildings, grounds, and amenities. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and manage make-ready tasks for new move-ins, while following safety policies and local codes.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications (Type I & II or Universal), a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications required for service technicians.
• State and local certifications as required by jurisdiction.
• Valid driver’s license required to operate golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and codes.
• Makes go/no-go repairs and prepares vacants for leasing with punch lists.
• Manages materials, inventory tracking, and coordinates with maintenance supervisor.
• Documents service work promptly for ticketing and tracking.
• Maintains grounds and amenities; cleans and paints as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing when possible.

Education

EPA Type I & II (or Universal) refrigerant certifications

State and Local certifications as required

Valid driver’s license
