Job summary

Greystar in Sarasota, FL, is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician for Aster & Links to maintain the property's buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality. Schedule is Monday–Friday with rotating on-call; duties include diagnosing defects and repairing per code and policy.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, state/local certifications, and a valid driver's license for golf-cart operation.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1/2 or Universal required.
• State and local certifications must be maintained as required.
• Valid driver's license to operate golf carts on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and completes work orders from residents and performs preventative maintenance.
• Completes make-ready tasks for vacant units including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Accesses and tracks materials, supplies, and tools from maintenance inventory.
• Files documentation for service requests promptly and accurately.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts when possible and avoiding waste.
