Job summary

Greystar seeks a Maintenance Technician in Chapel Hill, NC to perform routine maintenance and ensure property standards. You will diagnose issues, repair systems, and complete assigned work orders while following safety guidelines and company policies.

You will also handle the make-ready process for vacant units, manage inventories, and coordinate with vendors as needed to keep the property clean, safe, and appealing for residents.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in Internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs.
• Incumbents must have EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects on the property following safety policies and code requirements.
• Complete the make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing and move-ins.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and coordinate with maintenance supervisor on re-ordering needs.
• Document service requests clearly for proper tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, perform general cleaning and painting as needed.
