Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the property's buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas in top condition. You will diagnose defects, perform preventative maintenance, and complete make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing, ensuring readiness for new residents.

You will follow safety policies, manage inventory, coordinate with vendors, and document work orders. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of maintenance experience, EPA

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and/or training.
• 2 years minimum experience in property maintenance or related trade.
• EPA Type I and II or Universal refrigerant certifications.
• Valid driver’s license to operate equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose source of defects and make repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Complete make-ready tasks for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and return unused items to storage.
• Document all work orders accurately for record-keeping.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and basic painting as needed.
• Attend safety meetings and comply with OSHA and related requirements.
