Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to keep community buildings and grounds clean, safe, and well-maintained. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and manage make-ready tasks for vacant units, ensuring high-quality finishes and timely turnover.

You’ll work with a team to follow policies, meet budget guidelines, and uphold Greystar safety standards while delivering excellent resident service in a dynamic community environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or related experience and training.
• Experience in property maintenance or building maintenance.
• Must provide own hand tools; knowledge of safe use of tools and equipment.
• Ability to diagnose problems and apply practical solutions.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with residents and team.

Responsibilities

• Handle work orders and routine upkeep by diagnosing defects and making repairs.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Set standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas.
