Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to support maintenance operations at our San Antonio community. The Porter will assist in carrying out routine, preventive, and cosmetic maintenance under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

Responsibilities include grounds and common area upkeep, unit make-readies, responding to work orders, and ensuring safety and policy compliance. X

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily maintenance of the community and units under supervision.
• Perform make-ready tasks for vacant units and common areas.
• Perform routine, preventive, and cosmetic maintenance as directed.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the maintenance shop and grounds.
• Assist in enforcing community policies and safety guidelines.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager for tasks and inspections.
