Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to support maintenance operations across our communities. You will perform corrective, preventive, routine, and cosmetic maintenance under supervision, including make-ready tasks.

You will handle grounds, buildings, and common areas; respond to resident requests; support safety standards; participate in on-call emergencies; and collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Community Maintenance: regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for common areas and units in a timely manner.
• Ensure repairs and replacements for grounds, buildings, and community areas are completed promptly.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and facilities daily to identify hazards and liability concerns.
• Assist in maintaining a preventive maintenance program to extend asset life and reduce future repairs.
• Maintain safe work practices per Asset Living policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Participate in unit inspections as requested and support maintenance supervision.
• Support customer and resident relations and project a positive image of the community.
• Enforce community policies delegated by the supervisor and management.
