Job summary

The Harbor Group Management Company is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for a multifamily community in the San Antonio area to assist the Property Manager with day-to-day financial, operational, and administrative tasks.

You will help with rent collection, leasing support, resident relations, and reporting, ensuring compliance with policies and fair housing laws while coordinating with maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years in multifamily property management.
• Strong lease and rent collection knowledge.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and property management software.
• G/L postings and financial reconciliations familiarity.
• Experience with social media platforms preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Customer-service oriented with residents and vendors.
• Valid driver’s license for on-site operations.

Responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; manage delinquencies.
• Prepare daily deposits and reconcile bank accounts.
• Process vendor invoices and accounts payable with proper coding.
• Assist with month-end close and general ledger postings.
• Assist leasing efforts including showing units and processing applications.
• Support lease renewals and resident education on policies.
• Coordinate with maintenance for turnover and service requests.
• Act as on-site supervisor in the Property Manager's absence.
• Provide community performance updates to ownership.
