The role emphasizes resident relations, rent collection, leasing support, and timely financial reporting to ensure smooth property operations and effective on-site leadership in the Property Manager’s absence.

Qualifications

• Two years of multifamily property management experience.
• Strong knowledge of lease agreements and rent collection.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Experience with G/L postings and Security Deposit Accounting.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Customer-service oriented with residents and vendors.
• Valid driver''s license required.

Responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and overdue payments; manage delinquencies.
• Prepare daily deposits, reconcile bank accounts, and produce financial reports.
• Process payables and vendor invoices with proper coding and approvals.
• Assist with month-end close and general ledger postings.
• Support leasing: show units, process applications, and execute leases.
• Assist lease renewals and educate residents on policies.
• Coordinate with maintenance for timely unit turns and service requests.
• Act as on-site supervisor when Property Manager is absent.
• Maintain open communication with ownership and provide performance updates.
