Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Assistant Community Manager to handle daily financial operations, rent collection, and invoicing while ensuring leases are enforced and owner expectations are met.

You will use Yardi/OneSite, perform daily close-outs, and support residency services. Collaboration with maintenance and leasing teams is essential to maximize revenue and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• M.Ed or Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field is preferred.
• 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management.
• Knowledge of equity and inclusion issues and relevant laws (FERPA, Title IX, ADA, etc.).
• Ability to implement problem solving strategies for residential challenges.
• Compassionate, diplomatic, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Collects and posts rent, processes invoices, and prepares financial reports.
• Operates Yardi/OneSite and maintains accurate system data.
• Reviews resident files to enforce leases and collect delinquent balances.
• Processes vendor invoices and coordinates payment approvals.
• Follows eviction procedures and represents the community when needed.
• Handles move-outs and disposition per policy and lease terms.
• Supports leasing and marketing efforts as needed and tours ready apartments.
