Job summary

IES is seeking a Superintendent to manage medium-to-large telecommunications projects, ensuring safety, quality, and financial performance. You will lead staff, coordinate with customers, monitor profitability, and ensure timely delivery per job requirements.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience, 3+ years as a lead telecom technician, and 5+ years in telecom/construction. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and driving standards is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supervisory or managerial experience.
• Minimum 3 years as Lead Communications Technician or similar position.
• Minimum 5 years in telecommunications or related field.
• Proficient with computer and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project).
• Must meet company driving standards.
• Demonstrated ability to define a project, create scope, estimate, and manage tasks to completion.
• Able to use trade tools: punch tool with 110/66 blocks, crimp tools, Krone/3M/BIX, volt-ohm meter, etc.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, manage, supervise, and discipline project staff.
• Act as senior liaison with customer representatives.
• Plan and manage project profitability and deadlines.
• Oversee staffing, materials, and financial management.
• Review job costs, invoices, and financial reporting.
• Complete on-paperwork including timesheets and change orders.
• Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to standards on site.
