Job summary

IES, a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services, seeks a Project Lead for Structured Cabling in Colorado. You will coordinate on-site crews, ensure quality, safety, and timely project completion, while working with the Project Manager on productivity and budget adherence.

You will routinely perform site-level checks, manage reports and as-built drawings, and serve as the main on-site contact with customers. Strong leadership and telecom wiring skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years in telecommunications or related field.
• Ability to terminate fiber.
• At least 6 months supervisory/managerial experience.
• Must be able to use listed tools.
• Read blueprints and project docs (specs, QA).
• Know universal color codes for communications.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project).
• Meet company driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead major project crews and train staff.
• Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to guidelines.
• Coordinate with Project Manager on productivity and budget.
• Complete timesheets, work orders, change orders and tool transfers.
• Perform quality checks and coordinate moves for voice/data cross-connects.
• Act as on-site customer contact and attend meetings as required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; perform additional duties as needed.
